I hope you are all well. I am really missing not seeing you all and I thought we could use this blog to share news, have chats and it can be a place where you can contact me with any queries about your work or anything else you want to talk about.
So I look forward to hearing from you over the coming weeks and remember even though we are not all together we are still Year 6 and we are here for each other.

Lovely to hear from you. I hope you are well and not too bored and you are keeping happy and well. These are the sites I set work on;
Mathletics: I set 10 tasks on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I can only set new tasks when you have completed the previous 10.
TT Rockstars: You should be using this as much as possible with a view to becoming a Rock Hero before we return to school . !!!
Busy Things: There are at least 17 varied tasks on Busy Things which you access on MyUSO.im. The tasks won’t go when you do them but I will see you have completed them.
Classroom Secrets: I would follow the Home learning Timetable if you can. As it has a new maths task, grammar task, comprehension and other fun activities to do each day. You can also do the work under Year 6. These tasks won’t go when you do them.
BBC Bitesize: Has daily lessons and tasks each day with links to worksheets.
White Rose Maths: Has extra maths work you might want to do.
Espresso: Is there for you to browse and enjoy.
Myuso.im : lots of resources including coding.
These are my suggestions for you to use. Do what you can. Please contact me if you need anything else or any other help.

We are fine and I recently received a login for my mums school’s online library, so I have many books to read. My mum is renovating our house, she is going to paint our room blue! I also found some animation apps which are quite easy to use (KineMaster and FlipaClip) and I’ve been spending quite some time on those, I recommend them if we do ICT. That’s all that has been happening so far, I’ll be sure to keep you updated!

I’ve been calling Abigail and Shannon all day everyday which has been keeping me busy but of course the homework has kept me very busy!<3
I am so glad you and the girls are keeping in contact. I hope they are well. Please send them my love and tell them I would love to hear from them. I hope the homework is not too stressful. To be honest as long as we all come back happy and healthy that is all that truly matters to me. Do what you can. There will be some days you won’t feel like doing anything and that is fine and then on others you might be grateful for something to keep your mind focused and busy. It is like that for adults as well so don’t worry.

Password : is youe TT rockstars and Mathletics password.
You don’t need login for whiterose maths or BBc bitesize
To access Busy Things it is the same 304 password you are using to access this blog.

Lovey to hear from you. I hope you are your family are still keeping well. We might get some news on Sunday from the Prime Minister about when schools will return so we have to wait till then. There will be on SATS in fact if we had been doing them they would be starting next Monday. We will still have an end of term assessment to complete but not official SATS. With regard to boosters, it is unlikely they will return but you never know!!!
With regard to Target maths, I would continue completing the extension sections. If you would like more maths work I could email work direct to your mum. Let me know if you would like this and I will phone you and get her email address. I hope you saw my letter to Y6 yesterday which outlines some more activities to be completing. Thank you for your continued hard work. I’m very impressed by your efforts.

I wish I could say yes with confidence but I can’t as the situation is so uncertain at the moment. All I can promise you is I will make sure we have a prom even if it means you all have to come back one Friday night when you have started your secondary school.

Thank you for your message. On my system it shows you have not completed any of the reading eggs tasks and in total I have set 5. Number 6 has been set today. Please get you, mum, to email if you think there is a problem with the system. I can see you have started to use Busy Things (lots more to complete) and you have accessed Classroom secrets. Are you doing this every day? Also try and complete 10 mathletics tasks on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

I hope you are well. I didn’t set new work last week as I took it as your half-term but until you have completed ALL the tasks already on Busy Things I am not going to set any more at the moment. You still have quite a few to complete. Today a letter is going on the jotter which outlines what you need to complete every day online. Well done for being one of the best users of classroom secrets. I have set tasks for this week.I would suggest 1 reading, grammar and numeracy per day. Just make sure they are all completed by the end of the week. If you have any problems please let me know.

I would love to remove the tasks you have done but I have to keep them on till most of the class have completed them. I would suggest you start completing from the earliest tasks I set as there are quite a few left for you to do. I’m hoping by next week that I can start removing some of the tasks and setting a few new ones.
